Mad Hot Ballroom
Available on October 18th, 2005
Documentary - PG - 105 min.

Very entertaining documentary about an inner-city grade school ballroom dancing competition. This film followed a little too closely in the footsteps of the excellent spelling bee documentary "Spellbound" which came out a year before "Mad Hot Ballroom". Both documentaries, however, are equally charming. "Mad Hot Ballroom" is a good family-friendly documentary.

Sharp-tongued and quick-witted, Jackie's a woman of substance who knows how to handle it all. With a white lie here, a bent rule there, and a steady dose of pa...
